Why I built MoneyFormula

I built MoneyFormula after repeatedly jumping between random websites, notes, and calculators for basic financial planning. The results were often hard to trust, and every tool used a different format, which slowed down simple decisions. I wanted a single place where everyday formulas felt clear, consistent, and quick to run. The app was designed so users can move from question to confident answer in seconds without spreadsheet-level friction.

What users get

Users get quick formula entry, clear result cards, saved history, and fast category search. The app is designed for repeated day-to-day use, not one-time calculation demos.

Problems during development

The main challenge was keeping inputs simple while supporting practical edge cases. I also had to make result interpretation easy for non-technical users.

AI tools used

I used Codex to speed up repetitive implementation tasks and improve code structure. Formula correctness and validation rules were manually reviewed.
